Adventuring

I'm new to this whole blog world. I've read blogs and keep up with some, but actually creating one of my own and keeping up with it is a whole new world. So, if you have any suggestions/tips/sites/etc to share, send them my way. I'm open to learning more about this.
As you've noticed, I at least figured out how to change my background. Now I need to upload pics. I'll tackle that another day...but I will get to it.

This is how nothing reads

So, Christmas is over and the New Year is approaching. I have yet to make a single resolution. I'm not sure if I will or not. Is that bad? Surely there are things I would love to start/stop/continue, but I don't think it will necessarily help if I make it a "resolution".
On a side note, Christmas was great. We went up to St. Louis to spend time with my family. Todd was in and out between SLC , then back to Dallas, then up to St. Louis. So, I only saw him for a few hours in the span of a week or so. Kayden was so excited to see him on Christmas Eve.
It is nice to be back home though, in my own bed in the comfort of my own home. I didn't get done what I had planned, but we had great family time, so that makes up for it all.
As the months pass, I find that I'm getting bigger and more uncomfortable. I can easily become out of breath just by walking through a store. I take that as not such a good sign. I'm excited, nonetheless. We are both excited - Todd not so much about not finding out the sex. I think he'll live. We began talking yesterday about names. Neither of us have a fancy towards any name - male or female. Guess we better get working on that seeing as how it took us nearly 2 days before we named Kayden.

Too much kissing

We recently took Kayden to the Dr because he wasn't eating, wasn't drinking as much (this kid drinks like it's going out of style!), was cranky, slept alot, started getting sores in and around his mouth, and had a fever on an off. Me, being a horrible mother, let it go for about a week and half or so. It finally got really bad so we took him in - the worst Dr's visit of my life. After poking and prodding the poor boy, we learned he had mono. Who's he kissing at age 2?? An antibiotic shot (which did nothing) and steroid shot later, the kid is back to normal - drinking and running like a mad man. Lesson learned: we love steroids.

Is anyone out there?

So, I thought I'd hop on the bandwagon (a few years late, but better late than never, eh?) and create a blog for our family. I don't know how exciting it will be, but at least those of you who want to know will be able to keep up with the exciting life and times of the TX Anderson's. So, here goes......all aboard!
